Ramon Revilla Sr. in stable condition

FORMER senator Ramon Revilla Sr. is now in stable condition after he suffered from a series of strokes last Tuesday.

The 81-year-old Revilla patriarch was at the St. Luke’s Hospital last Tuesday to have his regular executive check-up, when he suddenly felt weak.

The doctor said actor Bong Revilla’s father suffered from stroke due to blockage of one of his brain’s major arteries. There are also fatty deposits in the blood vessels of the former lawmaker, which might be the cause of his stroke.

The elder Revilla underwent a cerebral angiogram, which is an x-ray test that is used to make pictures of blood vessels in one’s head and neck. (more)
